Chas Russell is a guest character in Season 2 of Melrose Place. He is portrayed by Jeff Kaake.

Chas is the boyfriend of Hillary Michaels who tried to cause trouble between Hillary and her estranged daughter, Amanda Woodward. While Amanda and Hillary were reconciling, Hillary recommended Chas for a job at D&D Advertising and Amanda hired him as a junior executive.
He immediately started slacking off and pushing all of his work off on Alison Parker. Later, he kissed Amanda, which Alison witnessed. She and a drunken Billy Campbell later let it slip to Jake Hanson about the kiss and he confronted Amanda. Consequently, Amanda fired Chas.
He later sued her for sexual harassment. While no one believed Amanda's side, eventually it was revealed that Chas was just out for revenge and lost his case.
